Weekday Weekend.

Weekday Weekend.
Weekday Weekend.
Weekday Weekend.

There's something lovely about weekends, setting the to-do lists aside and purely enjoy some free time the ways you like it to be. Sleeping in, heading over our favourite bakery for breakfasts, forgetting about work for a few hours and simply doing things that free our minds for a day, is why we love weekends but are also what is making so very special some weekdays recently. We like to call them 'weekday weekends' and they're usually on a Friday or Monday (but we don't really discriminate any day) and are made of cake and cappuccino for breakfast, walks, homeware shopping and some chilled time.

Sometimes daily life situations can overwhelm me and it's nice to take some time for myself, off from my workspace, doing something different that make me feel nicer, even if it's not the weekend yet! If there's something I'm learning lately is that I need to take life a little bit easier and lighter and stop stressing about literally everything that happens to me. I need positivity, and positivity starts where I feel at ease doing the things I like and forgetting about all the worries.

The magic of winter.

The magic of winter.
The magic of winter.
The magic of winter.
The magic of winter.

I always forget how intimidating shooting outside during a cold Winter day with only one thin layer on can be, especially if it snows, brrr! - but the result is always the most fascinating. It's that period of time when I start craving the new season so badly, I need tulips, picnics, colours and three quarter sleeves so badly, but then it started snowing, and the whole Spring-craving-thing mitigated in front of the beauty of a monochrome world. I really love it! Filling up my put-together hairstyle with delicate white snowflakes, admiring the snow storm through a window while sipping hot tea, looking at the snow dancing under the street lamps light when it's dark outside, wearing three and more layers and the most cozy outfits you can think of and coming home with very soaked feet and shoes: it's the magic of Winter, one I'll never be tired of!

Lavender | A Note

Last week during a relaxed afternoon spent mainly in the car and parks, I spotted a little place were some lavender was growing and even though I never saw some real lavender in my life before, I knew I wasn't wrong. I couldn't help myself from going there and getting some to bring home with me. I just love how lavender looks and smells, so I was so happy to go home and get a rope to tie all the stems together. I'm just keeping it in my room at the moment and smelling it when I feel to, but I'll may improvise some little lavender sachets for my wardrobe when it will be dry. Flowers always make me in a better mood, and going out to just do simple things like getting some flowers or eating a delicious soy ice cream, seriously works wonders for me and my mood. I'm having a tough time with my over-thinking propensity and some other health issues that are really worrying me, and sometimes I just need to forget about schedules, working hours and stuff, and simply go out and do those simple things that keep my mind engaged in good, positive thoughts. I find with me flowers, natural spots, gardens, ice creams, spending a relaxed afternoon with the boyfriend and baking always help.

Opening a new window | A Note

For many years of my life I lived passively and never really came across something I was very passionate about and that catched my attention and made me enjoy what I was doing. Recently though, as every spring or even more this year, I'm opening my windows and letting some fresh air to come in my life and as a result of this, even though I haven't even started catching up with my biggest dreams and plans, I and my soul definitely feel a lot better and I can definitely see how embracing life and what it has to bring without regrets and not being trapped in a commitment I don't like is changing my general mood and my own way to approach a lot of different situations. You know that feeling of a breath of fresh air when spring comes and you just feel like winter is over and it's time to be productive and creative - this is exactly how I'm feeling right now that my life is changing so fast but in a super sweet kind of way. I feel productive and creative, I always have a lot of new ideas and projects in mind and I simply love that feeling when, like opening a window after a long winter, you have to think that it's all changing towards a better direction. Having goals in life is the best way to live, having big and little goals to follow is what makes you go on strongly and helps you grow, so I finally came up with this new big goal of stopping myself of not having big goals and dreams in life anymore.
