Wishlisting :: Lace + Flowers

Sherry London Wishlist

It's not a usual thing that I get to talk about party and special occasion clothes on here, but I do love pretty dresses, especially when they include flowers and lace and show off a romantic feminine feel! It also seems that this summer will be the time to wear something fancy for a few many occasions coming my way, so it's never too early to start looking for the perfect dress. I've a thing for all the lace dresses from Sherry London's website, to which I've only recently been introduced but a website I've been browsing through ever since. They have a huge selection of Prom Dresses, Evening Dresses, Party Dresses and more, to really suit everyone's taste and shapes and that are made out of the most different types of fabric for every occasion! Think white or nude lace, tulle, sparkle, an A-line skirt and flower details and there you have it, my party dress of dreams - find four of them below!

Party dress: sorted. Now to think of when I'll be the protagonist of a wedding party, as recently everyone seems to be getting married apart from me!

What's your dress of dreams? x

Spring Wishlist!

Spring Wishlist

I've been craving the nice weather so badly and it has been lovely the last few days, but today is the most grey, soggy and saddest of the days after such a lovely sunny weekend - so it might be the best of the moments to gather together bright and colourful objects I've spotted recently and that have immediately made on top of my wishlist! Springtime is for bring colours, floral patterns, homeware renewal, new motivational workout gear, pretty stationery and thin blouses, and these are exactly the things I've been craving lately! As always I'm rather excited for the new season to come - winter is probably the longest period of the year to go through especially after the Holidays and the fun part of it are over, so I'm completely ready to hop to the no-more-that-rare splashes of sunshine, light dresses, colourful homeware and flower-scented candles! You? x

Wishlisting :: Winter Preppy

Even if I don't have proper style resolutions for the new year, I surely want to start embracing even more my personal style and wear more preppy, cute, feminine clothes in 2015 because those are the clothes that make me feel confident and comfortable in my own skin. Winter is probably not my favourite time of the year to experiment with fashion and wear skirts and dresses as I hate the cold and all I feel like wearing recently are oversized sweaters and hoodies and boring black jeans, but there's something about winter clothes, their cozy feel, that more often is making me want to wear something different and more put together! I bet I'm not the only one to feel this way, right? So on my winter wishlist I have all kinds of preppy, cozy and cute clothes from loose shirts, suede skirts, oversized sweaters and smock dresses, and this Sheinside wishlist totally sums up all of them (and I can't hide I might also have already purchased one of them...).

Wishlist :: Vintage

You probably already know I'm obsessed with vintage clothes lately, especially after being sucked in by Masters of Sex just a month ago (and if you haven't watch it yet, you totally should as it's so well-made and the '50 dresses are so beautiful to watch!); so when I was introduced to Rosegal it was such a nice surprise with their super affordable vintage session that includes everything you'll need to build a vintage wardrobe from scratch and on a budget. I'm totally drawn by any midi-skirt at the moment (even though I'm aware I only look good in above the knee skirts) as well as vintage-looking shirts and coats (especially cape coats, I'd say!), but look at that sweater and bag and tell me they don't look like they come from another era!

Rosegal also offered a 8% discount to all my readers with the code joeyCgil if you'd like to stock on some vintage clothes and save some money as well! Also they have a huge selection of non-vintage clothes and accessories too and a lot more trends, check out here for more looks!

Autumnal

wishlisting ;
I don't think I've ever written a wishlist post on here, but when autumn comes around I can't help but compile several lists of things I'd love to purchase and be pretty excited about literally... everything. I have had a huge wardrobe clear-out and re-organization session lately, which made me realize I don't have that many autumnal and transitional clothes in my closet and I'm really pining for some lately. It's strange, there're some periods in my life when I don't really mind about what I'm wearing and how I look and shopping is something I can't really stand, but then others when I want to look pretty, I need pretty shoes, clothes, accessories and then shoes again, flats in particular. When the chill comes around I'm usually all about new clothes and I find pieces I'd add to my wardrobe almost everywhere which makes typing anything in search bars so dangerous! I've already bought something from my list of missing pieces and basics from my closet, but I'm after so many other pretty shoes, can you blame me?! Also, there's something about autumn and feeling cozy, having lovely nights in and long baking session, that really fills me of joy at the thought we have many more months of chilly weather ahead, which means I definitely have to pick up my favourite candle from last year (maybe a full stock, please) as well as some kitchen homeware - I can look at pretty kitchen utensils for hours...
