let's talk autumn staples ;

I've done so many autumnal themed posts so far, but only recently we are having a typical autumnal weather here in Italy, and I realized I haven't compiled the list of autumn staples I wanted to share with you since a while. This year I've decided to invest in a few new staples that I will wear a lot now that the weather is so chilly and (way too) rainy and cold outside. As usual I like neutral colours and simple styles, however I've actually added a few unusual (to me) items to my wardrobe this time which I'm unexpectedly finding super interesting.

fluffy & suede ;

These are the textures I'm loving lately. I got this beautiful Lilac Grey Fluffy Sweater* from Sugarhill Boutique and this is the only thing I want to wear since I got it. It's slightly cropped, which isn't my usual thing, but it actually looks very flattering and it's perfect for being tucked in in high waisted skirts or pants. Not to mention it is the softest piece I've ever had in my wardrobe which is always a plus, and it's super warm too! I was a bit unsure at first, but it's just so perfect that I might consider buying it in another colour, or maybe all of them...

Something I love about autumn/winter are desert boots, am I the only one? I don't even think they're the most beautiful pick for a pair of shoes, but they are the most comfortable and warm pair I own and sometimes when it's cold I don't care if I could wear prettier shoes if I have my desert boots on. I have way too many pairs and colours but my favourite has to be the black that looks so flattering with everything I wear. And talking of suede, I got this beautiful and cozy Wool-Blend Duffel Coat from H&M that is keeping me warm and dry when it's pouring rain and super cold outside. It's cute yet simple and classy, and looks amazing if paired with my Jane Frost Scarf*, which not only it's made out of the nicest fabric, but it's also the cutest thing with the little rabbits print and the short fringe at the ends! It's light but stil perfect for the current chill and I bet I will be able to wear it in warmer seasons too!
