The past few days have been spent putting together a Christmas tree, hanging festive decorations, buying Christmas presents and wrapping them up. So don't ask me why I'm feeling super festive! This year I thought I'd mix things up a bit and instead of going for the usual wrapping paper, I've bought a stock of kraft paper, a cute little stamps set from
Tiger, simple customizable tags and cute ribbons to put together a few gift-wrapping creative ideas! Hopefully these will inspire some of you too, especially if you're looking for something simple and customizable for wrapping this year's presents up!
make a custom wrapping paper ;
I've picked up a big roll of kraft paper and the cutest little stamps from
Tiger, which served me well to design my custom wrapping paper simply by stamping cute little forest animals and trees all over it, but I'm definitely after some more like
these from Paperchase which are super festive! Also
this simple brown gift tags are ideal for being customized - again I used the deer stamp to add a little something to it, and then wrote it up and pinned it to the present with the
red and white twine which is definitely a Christmas staple!
make a custom ribbon ;
I've bought this beautiful beige and red ribbon from a local supplies store but as much as I like it by itself, I do love mixing things up by combining different ribbons in different colours, though the ribbon + twine might be a winning combination too! I've cut them the same size, knotted them up at both ends and made the twine twist around the ribbon to add texture to the bow, then wrapped it up onto the present, and untied the ends! As simple as that, but it totally gives the bow a completely different character!
GET CREATIVE!
for their stockings ;
The Christmas Boutique kindly delighted me with the cutest
Christmas decorations and packing solutions and I can't deny I was short of stockings this year and that their
Stockings and
Gift Sacks are pretty much the cutest offerings so they were totally welcome! If you are looking for lovely packing ideas as well as cute tree or home Christmas decorations to spice your space up this year, you should definitely check their
3 for 2 out - as for me I can't wait to put my gingerbread little guys and hearts on my tree!
